"Tennessee Rain" Cindy Walker Demo

$5.00

For a limited time, help support the mission of the Cindy Walker Foundation by downloading “Tennessee Rain.” One of approximately 75 “lost demos” recovered from the home of Hall of Fame Songwriter Cindy Walker. This song was written in the late 1960s - early 1970s and researchers believe it was “tailor made” for Willie Nelson because it was included with the demo of “Loser’s Song.” That song was recorded by Willie in 1970 during one of his last RCA session but was not released until 1998 on his “Nashville Was The Roughest,” multiple compilation CD. “Tennessee Rain” was never recorded by an artist but it conjures up vivid imagery of a man whose enjoying a Tennessee rain shower with his Texas woman by his side. For a $5 donation, you can download the demo in its entirety. Thanks for your support!
